Terrific Gospelling idea

Here’s a reminder about an event coming up this week –
St. Philip’s Church in the Sydney CBD is modelling a great idea for outreach. Later this month they are hosting a public reading of Mark’s Gospel over two lunch hours.
The purpose is to provide Christians who work and shop in the City with an opportunity to bring their non-Christian friends and work colleagues to hear about Jesus from the Scriptures.
Acting Senior Minister, Bishop Ray Smith, writes – “The reader will be David Baldwin, who is a TV actor and a public narrator. David has been invited by the Diocese to read for a recorded version of Luke’s Gospel for Connect09. …
One of our goals at St Philip’s is to complement the ministry and evangelism of local churches by providing gospel opportunities in Sydney CBD. I encourage you to let people in your congregation know about this public reading from the original account of Jesus’ words and actions. Urge them to invite others to join them at St Philip’s for 45 minutes on one or both days.”
